The AMS Assembly is the highest legislative body of the Alma Mater Society, which is the oldest student union in Canada. This September Assembly marks both a moment of reflection and a new chapter in student governance. It is dedicated to honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and to formally opening the year’s legislative session. In partnership with Four Directions, the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Native Student Association, and the AMS, the evening will begin with a ceremony featuring smudging, tobacco ties, strawberry pastries, student speeches, and a symbolic heart garden signing by Faculty Society leaders.
