ֱ the Event:
ANITA - Cranes in the Sky is a community gathering centering Black mental health through art, conversation, and music. Featuring new collage works by Alyssa Vernon and a mixed media video installation by King-David and Alyssa, the exhibition draws from themes of anxiety, emotional weight, healing, and release. The evening includes a panel discussion on Black mental health and community care, followed by a DJ dance party with sounds by DJ ZARI. Rooted in joy, reflection, and connection, the event offers space for collective care and creative expression!
** The Tett Centre and Modern Fuel both have an accessible entrance, and there is a universal and accessible washroom.
