Research Interests
I am passionate about improving health outcomes by expanding local capacity for health education and development of community-based partnerships. By exploring the effects of migration and precarious legal status on health vulnerability and exclusion from public services, I plan to highlight how health stigma shapes the uptake and effectiveness of health education, prevention, and treatment.
Biography
I recently completed my Bachelor of Education and undergraduate degree with a geography major and history minor at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. I believe that education alongside community organizations can be effectively leveraged to alleviate barriers to healthcare access for marginalized populations as they navigate health systems.
