Morgan Bello is a seasoned executive, governance professional and advocate, recognized for their influential leadership in human resources, labour relations, and the strategic integration of technology into workplace practices.
Recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), Morgan offers a visionary perspective on the future of HR and labour relations. As Vice President of People, Culture, and Corporate Services at the YMCA of the National Capital Region, he has spearheaded technology-driven workforce management strategies, optimized compensation frameworks, and advanced innovative labour relations initiatives.
Morgan’s governance expertise is reflected in their active roles on the boards of the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Bladder Cancer Canada, the College of Nurses of Ontario, and HRPA. Across these roles, they remain committed to fostering advocacy, equity, and innovation, particularly in addressing systemic barriers and promoting impactful policies.
In addition to their leadership roles, Morgan is a dynamic speaker and educator. Currently, he is a professor at Algonquin College, where they equip learners with insights on the transformative role of technology in HR practices and its potential to redefine labour relations.
