Biography

Lucas Daoust is a Human Resources and Labour Relations leader with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. He has held senior leadership roles in large, unionized organizations across the mining, government, and healthcare industries, where he has successfully led complex strategic initiatives, including collective bargaining, HRIS transformation, workforce planning, and the development of equity, diversity, inclusion, and engagement strategies.

He holds a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University. Lucas also maintains an active research interest in human resources, currently focusing on advancing trauma-informed leadership practices in the workplace.
