Jessica has been the lead of RavenLaw’s Kingston office since joining the firm in April of 2018. She practices in the areas of labour, employment and administrative law, with a particular focus on rights arbitrations.

Jessica was called to the bar in 2012. She holds an Honours BA in Labour Studies from McMaster University, Masters of Industrial Relations (MIR) from Queen’s University (2008) and Juris Doctor (JD) from Queen’s University (2011).

Jessica has been successfully advocating on behalf of unions and employees her entire career. Before joining Ravenlaw, Jessica worked at one of the largest trade unions in the country, where she regularly appeared before labour arbitration boards. She also represents individual employees in court, as well as before administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Outside of practice, Jessica has taught Human Rights in the Workplace to the MIR students at Queen’s University since 2019. She also authored a chapter titled “Exceptions to the Duty to Mitigate” in the recently published Mitigation in Ontario Employment Law text.
