Assistant Professor
School of Environmental Studies
I hold a PhD in Biology (specializing in freshwater zooplankton) and a Masters in Environmental Studies (specializing in waste studies). I am an Assistant Researcher with Professor Myra Hird, and an avid waste reductionist in and around the Kingson community. I have investigated the relationship between the waste hierarchy and local waste management, as well as the importance of volunteers in reducing waste at festivals and local events. On Sundays you can find me diverting and reducing waste at the Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market. I am also a puppy raiser for Kingston 4 Paws.
