Description:
Come and enjoy a relaxing fall forest hike at Elbow Lake! Join our outreach team to explore part of our trail system and discover some of the strategies animals and plants use to get ready for winter. This family-friendly adventure will include hands on activities, games, and other investigations to as we enjoy our time on the land.
The hike will begin at 10am and go until about 12pm. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Elbow after the hike. We will also have a campfire lit from 12pm - 2pm, so if you want to bring hot dogs, s'mores, or other yummy snacks to roast over the fire, you can do so!
Please note that the trail we will be walking for this program is not stroller-friendly.
