    Description:

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing attention to the present moment with curiosity and a non-judgmental attitude. This introductory session offers an opportunity to explore mindfulness through the theme of gratitude. Gratitude is more than simply thinking positively. It is the intentional practice of noticing and appreciating meaningful experiences, relationships, moments and qualities in life. When paired with mindfulness, gratitude can help shift attention from stress or deficiency toward awareness, appreciation and presence.

Through simple, experiential practices, you will explore how mindfulness and gratitude can support mental health, resilience, focus, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. The session will include a guided mindfulness activity that you can use during the session and return to independently in your daily life. Whether you are new to mindfulness or looking for a gentle reset in your routine, this session will offer practical tools to help cultivate calm, clarity, and appreciation.
