Congratulations on your acceptance to Concurrent Education at Queen’s University!
We are so happy you are here and cannot wait to welcome you to this amazing 5-year-long program and our beloved Con-Ed community! Fall Concurrent Education Orientation runs for the first two weekends of September and is an essential part of the "Con-Eddie" experience, allowing you to create lifelong memories & friendships. Our events aim to help you orient yourself around campus and within the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ community. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable in an academic, social, and cultural context while providing applicable resources, skills, and connections to aid your transition to post-secondary life.
Incoming students can expect a warm welcome from our Con-Ed orientation leaders, called "Teaches" serving as friendly guides on their new journey! You will be grouped with 3-4 upper-year Teaches along with 16 of your peers. Together, you will participate in many orientation activities and events located around campus!
Starting off with an Ed-Venture in B.Ed to lighting up the night with Neon Night, we offer a variety of events with decades of traditions, such as a day trip to White's Farm, and the infamous Coverall Painting, our annual semi-formal and Headphone Disco. Con-Ed Orientation has 9 events allowing you to bond with peers, upper-year mentors, and students in other faculties!
We can't wait to meet you!
