Course Description

2026-27: This course examines the major questions and contemporary challenges that shape the study and practice of International Relations (IR). It provides students with an opportunity to engage critically with key academic debates, concepts, and theoretical approaches within the discipline. The course begins by exploring the historical evolution of IR and the competing narratives that have shaped its core assumptions about power, order, conflict, cooperation, and global change.
