Don Drummond has published a new briefing paper as part of the School of Public Policy Paper Series published by the University of Calgary.
Tax Reform to Raise Canada's Pitiful Productivity discusses the ways that the proposed series of targeted tax reforms could contribute to increased productivity across the nation.
As Drummond writes, "[r]eversing Canada’s productivity decline is critical for ensuring long-term economic competitiveness and higher living standards. Tax policy is not a silver bullet, but as part of a comprehensive strategy it can play a central role in realigning incentives to foster innovation, investment and growth."
