For example, what can we do to encourage people in Biosciences to recycle their paper coffee cups? What can we do to encourage people to turn off the shower water between initial wetting up and final rinsing? Would requiring people to deliver their trash to the city landfill dump reduce their solid waste production? Think carefully about potential projects that you would like to do. As general guidelines, projects should: Be aimed at changing environmentally-relevant behaviour in at least 4 other people Entail actions that you will be able to measure so that the impact of the project can be quantified by comparing measurements before and after the project is initiated. Be feasible to implement with minimal resources. Be likely to lead to significant measurable change over a short (~10 day) period. Require a communication component aimed at changing environmentally-relevant behaviour (e.g. posters, signs). ?
