Towering figures glower down a sole, brave soldier on a hill top

Throughout the centuries we have been captivated by stories of legendary partnerships, people who were simply meant for each other. Join the Kingston Symphony for the meeting of opera and orchestra, and experience two masterpieces depicting generational love and friendship. Puccini’s immortal La Bohème tells the story of the love between Rodolfo and Mimi, and Martinů’s astonishing Epic of Gilgamesh chronicles the mythological adventures of Gilgamesh and Enkidu, two true best friends challenging the gods.
