For National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, we recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada.

In recognition of this special day, on June 18th at 6pm we will be hosting an evening in the An Clachan Community Room to reflect on the history of Indigenous Peoples. Learn about First Nations, and their cultures through collaging art, read-alongs, a film viewing, and thoughtful discussion

All are welcome! Please note children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is also open to John Orr Tower residents!

We are pleased to announce that Early On Child and Family Centres will be holding sessions in the An Clachan Community Room Tuesday mornings from 9:30-12:30pm.

Caring for your child is a journey filled with love and joy. At EarlyON Child and Family Centres, you can connect, play and learn alongside your child, while meeting other families and caregivers and receiving guidance from trained early childhood educators. 

Their programs offer various activities, from sensory play to language development and more, tailored to your child's interests and skills. EarlyON programs are free for families and caregivers with children aged zero to six

Kid’s Time will be running bi-monthly in the evening at 6:30pm in the An Clachan Community Room. Children can participate in fun activities including crafts, games, movie nights etc. It’s also a great way for parents and children to meet and make friends with their neighbors. 😊 We look forward to seeing you there! 

We ask that parents please accompany any children under the age of 6

Canada Day highlights the richness of our land, from coast to coast, and the incredible diversity of cultures that call this nation home. It is a day to celebrate the vibrant mix of music, food, traditions, and languages that make Canada unique. Please join us for a Canada Day celebration in the Community Room, there will be fun and games, and plenty of maple themed treats to go around!

With Canada Day approaching please join us for this month's Canadian themed cooking class, led by our very own An Clachan residents, Annie & Jacob Branchflower! They will step us through preparing a Tarte au Sucre, a French Canadian sugar pie!

We will also be serving appetizer poutines! What's more Canadian than poutine and maple syrup!? 

You are welcome no matter what level your culinary skills are! Space is limited so please register in advance

English Conversation Group Runs on Fridays from 1:00pm-2:30pm in the An Clachan Community Room. This is a great opportunity to practice your listening skills, conversation skills, learn about Canadian and other cultures, increase your confidence, also great for IELTS/CELPIP.
