Turn your curiosity about teaching and learning into educational scholarship! The QIESR Summer Incubator is your opportunity to engage with your own educational research project. Whether you are exploring ideas for the first time or you are coming with a burning question about teaching and learning, this is your chance to learn, network, and take next steps on your educational research journey.

This two-day QIESR Summer Incubator is designed to encourage scholars from across the university to engage with the foundations of educational scholarship and research and to inspire new and support existing projects and initiatives. The Incubator will connect you with colleagues who share interests where teaching meets research.

By the end of the Incubator, scholars will:

• Define educational scholarship and research
• Explore various educational frameworks, methodological approaches, and ethical considerations to articulate their impact on planning an educational research project
• Generate initial ideas, questions, or plans for their own research or scholarship projects
• Advance your research ideas and projects to the next level
