Lisa Walsh, Associate Vice-Principal, Human Resources, congratulates attendees during the Celebration of Service dinner and reception.

Queen’s employees marking milestone years of continuous service in 2025 were recognized during the annual Celebration of Service dinner and reception, held on Monday, June 16 at Ban Righ Dining Hall.

This year, 132 faculty and staff members were honoured for reaching 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, or 55 years of service at the university.

The event brought together honourees and their guests, and was hosted by Principal and Vice-Chancellor Patrick Deane, along with Lisa Walsh, Associate Vice-Principal (Human Resources).

“Honouring longstanding employees at Queen’s is always a meaningful occasion, and I’m privileged to host this celebration and personally thank our colleagues for their dedication to their work, students, and the university,” says Principal Deane. “Their years of service and the lasting contributions they’ve made continue to shape Queen’s into the institution it is today, and I’m deeply grateful.”
