The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is the largest teaching unit at Queen’s University with degree programs in both the Faculty of Arts and Science and Smith Engineering. Our teaching spans the full spectrum from service courses for first-year students in both faculties to advanced undergraduate and graduate courses. We train the next generation of academic and research fellows through our graduate and postdoctoral programs. Our robust Postdoctoral Fellow Program attracts some of the world’s most talented young mathematicians who spend three years at Queen’s engaged in cutting-edge research and preparing for independent academic careers.
Our internationally recognized faculty conduct research spanning diverse areas of Mathematics and Statistics, including Pure and Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Biology, and Statistics and Biostatistics.
We invite you to support our outstanding programs and outreach activities and contribute to the growth and success of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics through your generous donation.
