Ori is a fourth-year student in the astrophysics specialization, currently working through a thesis on the design and construction of Quantum Photonic Neural Networks. As a big fan of futuristic science fiction stories, Ori is passionate about the development of new technologies and the ways they can be used to benefit humanity.

Dinel is a joint student under Bhavin Shastri and Nir Rotenberg currently working towards developing photonic memory using photochromic materials. Outside of his research Dinel enjoys playing baseball and learning new recipes.

Favourite Animal: Shoebill Stork 🐦

Incoming PhD student at QNL and Shastri Lab. The project focuses on building experimental setups for quantum photonic neural networks.

Andrea is the NUCLEUS (CREATE grant) Program Officer and Laboratory Manager for the Shastri Lab and the Quantum Nanophotonics Lab. Andrea obtained a B.Sc. (Honours) in Life Science from ����ֱ�� and a M.Sc. in Pharmacology and Physiology from McMaster.  She worked as a Study Coordinator for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group at ����ֱ�� for 14 years before becoming a Research Projects Advisor - Institutional Programs and Strategic Initiatives within the Vice Principal Research Portfolio. In her spare time, Andrea loves weightlifting, curling, playing piano and enjoying life with her amazing daughter Clara.
