Students on short-term study programs and scholars with standard visitor visas are strongly encouraged to obtain travel health insurance to cover possible GP consultations, prescription medicines, and non-emergency hospital treatment. Emergency attendance at Accident & Emergency is free but ambulance and outpatient services are chargeable. Travel health insurance will allow you to use walk-in clinics or private GP services for minor issues.
On-site support staff are available to direct students and academic staff to the appropriate healthcare services.
