On August 25, 2023, a hybrid conference titled "50-Year Relationship of Vietnam and Canada: Look Back and Forward" marked the commemoration of five decades of bilateral ties between Vietnam and Canada. The Vietnam Institute of American Studies (VIAS), a division of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, hosted the event in Vietnam.

We write to express our utmost concern and care for the Ethiopian students in our Queen’s community, our colleagues at the University of Gondar, Ethiopian ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ alumni and all others in the Amhara region, who are facing the impact of this developing conflict.
On a recent June visit to Egypt, our Vice-Provost, Global Engagement signed a new exchange agreement with . This five year agreement will see ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ students in the Faculties of Arts and Science, Smith School of Business, and Law go on exchange in Egypt.
The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Indigenous Rocket Team emerged victorious at the First Nations Launch competition in the USA, the first time a Canada-based team received more points than every other team at the competition!
